With so many changes in our country and attacks on our society and way of life, there are some things we need to take care of just so we can start working on energy again. |
|
|
Included among the issues we have to deal with are cap (read tax) and trade, the continued debasement of our currency (which can only lead to massive inflationary pressures), and nationalized health care (which will drop us down to European standards). |

WHY WE'RE HERE
There are dozens, probably hundreds of sites that will lay out in painful detail why we need to drill for more domestic oil. This will not be one of them. While there are others, there are four primary reasons:
- Reliability - we cannot depend on an steady and sufficient flow of oil from those who dislike us.
- Safety - we are sending 700 Billion dollars a year out of the county... much of it to those who would do us harm.
- Economics - this money should be going to American companies providing American jobs.
- Personal Finances - High gas prices hurt every family, especially those with low incomes.
Our purpose is to show you some of the things you can do help bring about changes in our energy policy.
Of course we'll have some information, some links, maybe even a laugh or two as we watch the other side tell us that a gas bill the size of another car payment is good for us ad individuals and good for the country.
Unlike some celebrity presidential candidates, we make no pretense of having all the answers. If you come up with something that gets the word out and keeps the energy issue in front of your neighbors, we'd like to know about it and pass it on. We'll even give you credit. After all, it will take a team effort to get the job done... and a team of one just has to work too hard.
ONE MORE THING...
Even though we are dealing with serious issues concerning the future of our country, we still have fun with our opposition that takes itself far too seriously for the value they bring to the table. Check out SNL does the Bailout and Democrats on an Escalator in the Fun section. You'll be ROFL!
